How to show branched traversed path for BPF record which has had stage updated via import

Hi CRM friends,

I've recently created a new BPF to be used on all opportunities going forwards and I'm trying to update pre-existing opportunity records to the appropriate stage in the new BPF.

I've updated the stage, pipeline phase and process id via front end import but now all possible stages from the new process are displayed on the record I updated as a test record.

I've since updated the traversed path field (using kingswaysoft plugin) to be the guids that follow the path I'm trying to "set" but the record itself on CRM still shows the same process bar  with "all possible stages".

Is there something I've missed?

I'd really like to make the existing opportunity records usable for users if possible.
