How to make sure that employees enter the correct data in new posts (e.g. Event-entity)

Hi there,

In our organization, which is a large sports and gymnastics association, we have many different types of data-registration upon filling out a form or creating a new post in our Dynamics CRM 365 On-premise. 

In order to secure data quality, somebody has developed a "Registration guildeline" in Word. This guidelines contains all information how and in which order to enter the data, depending on the type of entity. For example, we have a Event-entity, which contains different eventtypes as for example Course, Tournament, Conference, Meeting etc. Furthermore a Event-type has a relation to a Sports-branch-enity e.g. Soccer, Basketball, Gymnastics etc. 

NOTE! There are more relations than that, but the above is just for an example.

Depending on the event type and sports branch (and sometimes other parameters) there is a strict and special process which data have to be entered. I tried to create a Business Process Flow, to help the user with the registration process, but it is impossible (as far as i know) in the "condition"-function to say IF EventType = Tournament AND SportsBranch = Basketball OR Soccer OR Tennis 

My question is therefore:

Which is the best solution to secure a flawless registration process of data (that is depending on different parameters) upon posts creation?
