Hello All,
I have a question that may seem like an over-generalization, but I'm trying to determine if its worth the ROI to bring in a developer resource in-house.
With MSCRM v8 and later online, is plugin development becoming less and less relevant? With processes such as sync/async workflows, dialogs, actions, and business rules... when would you actually need to have a developer come in a build out custom logic? Could you, in theory, get everything you want out of the box with a D365 online deployment?
I understand that if an operation needs to occur every time a specific user action is taken or there is something outside the scope of a workflow?
Just looking for general answers here and maybe some scenarios.
Thank you!
John
