Adding opportunities that i am sales member off, adding to my view

Hi all,

In the advanced view I tried to show my (open) sales opportunities together with the (open) sales opportunities that I am a sales member of. I understand that sales member is a connection role. but do not get the view well displayed. I only get the sales opportunities where I am the owner  AND where i am a sales member.
