Owner of recurring mass deletion jobs

Hi.

We have a system mass deletion job with an owner that will soon no longer will be active in the system. It doesn`t seem to be possible to change the owner of the job and if I create a new the job it is not possible to set a new owner (the new job gets assigned to me and not a system user). 

Is it possible to change the owner of this job?
