CRM App Dashboards - Why does the Dashboard "iPad Activities Dashboard" need to be activated to ensure app works

Hi

It seems in our system that the Managed Dashboard  "iPad Activities Dashboard" has to be defined and configured for all user roles to enable the App to work, if the above Dashboard is cleared, then the App will error on load up...

Is this Dashboard hard coded in the App for the homepage or is there a configuration setting I can add to another Dashboard to allow the App to work without this one??
