Dynamics CRM is not sending Email/Email shows as sent yet is not received at the other end - Need help

Hello all

 

I have activated a trial version last friday and so far I have been unable to send any emails from the CRM.

I have the Dynamics CRM plugin for Outlook installed and functional, I have tried ( as suggested elsewhere on the internet) to stop and restart Windows Live ID assistant, all to no avail.

Emails are showing as sent or pending and in any case they would sow up in the Outllok OutBox, and even for those with status 'sent', they are not being delivered to the receiver.

 

The fixes I have seen posted in various support threads seem to imply that one would run their own server and install a mail router or an Exchange Server on it, which is not my case

 

Any help is most welcome
