User License / User Count details required while using AX POS

Hi All,

I have a very generic question related to user license count. Appreciate your insights on this.

We are using AX Retail POS ( More than 200 stores with approx. 600 POS applications installed). We have few POS machines which are installed with POS client but we are not using. Just wanted to know if Licenses are considered for the one's which are not using.

In fact i wanted to know the following

1.Is Licensing considered for POS clients ? If Yes, Please explain. Can someone please attach relevant documentation.

2. How do we remove Licensing for unused POS machines.
