AX 2012 Expense receipt attach does not use Document Type

Hello,

From Enterprise portal it seems expense receipt document attach capability does not use Type Document not allowing to save the receipt in sharepoint or database. 

Just saves the receipts in the folder configured in Document Management Parameters > General > Archive Directory. 

Is there any standard way to save this files in the AX database or sharepoint?
