Hello,
we have CRM 2016(8.1.1.1005) installed on every client in the agency. One of those, faced the issue in the object and Outlook freezes every time the user click one of Dynamics CRM button via Outlook plugin. I've already tried this fix ( https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/117/p/265705/825125#825125 ) and reinstall plugin with no success. Other clients didn't have that keys plugin works properly.
There's another solution?

Apart from MS releasing an open source version of Portals that you can take and install yourself. What are my other options for on-premises?

We have tried to retrieve more than 5K records using fetchxml and Web API using javascript. We are on Dynamics 365 online (8.2). The issue is that everytime it get the same cookie so it retrieve same 5K records each time and process continue forever.
Is anyone face such type of issue and solution for it.

How to correct the Moving Average value by mistake when entering a transaction date that exceeds the current date.
example : Create issue transaction in inventory with date 'Dec/24/2018'
This transaction causes the moving average value for its inventory to remain unchanged.

We use item charge for haulage costs
The Hauliers we work with charge us by the pallet (Shipment containers)
I want to create a new calculated field of purch rec lines that returns the number of containers (that would be Quantity on Purch line/ Qty per shipment containers on item card)
and add this field to the options on the assignment.
My question:
Does the purch rec line get affected by the item charge assignment?
My undrstanding is that it's not so the mod should anly apply to Purch rec lines, Warehouse rec lines and item charge assignment
Would appreciate any feedback about this mod before start working

sometimes you encounter a subject about which is written so much that you just don't know who is right anymore. So please bare with me, I know the answer is to be found online, but just couldn't find it yet.
We have a Dynamics CRM 2016 on premise installation and we're migrating our Exchange on premise to Exchange online. We're still running version 8.1.0.359 and the upgrade project isn't even in planning phase (don't get me started, but hey, things are the way they are).
So, is it true that I won't be able to get SSS reconfigured as long as we're not at least on 8.2?
Will Email Router, being deprecated and all, be able to help me until 8.2? About the router there's also 1001 different contradicting opinions.
Sure hope someone can tell me the real status of this.

I want to hide the default system view "Initial Public view" from schedule board in v8.2.2.2060. Refer below screenshot:
I've tried to hide the same thing in Trial environment(v9.0) where I can do the same by deactivating the view.

I'm currently exploring the capabilities of Talent for a project. When I was testing adding, removing and closing jobs in the Attract modular app I noticed that when a job is closed, the previous applicants details are still there and can't be removed. This includes all of their personally identifiable data, documents (which may include CVs/resumes) etc. This is a big no-no under GDPR. Is there any way I could remove the applicants after the job is closed via a workflow? Or is this something that I'd have to raise a ticket about with Microsoft?

I have a Purchase order which is closed off, and the delivery remainder is zero, but for one of the items the quantity is still appearing in the NET requirements.
This is one example it's also happening on a number of sales orders.
Would like to get rid of the requirements, is there a update or script which anyone has , to remove the net requirments ?

I'm preparing a client demo of the learning path functionality with a view to encouraging them to leverage in a forthcoming deployment (September 2018).
I've set up a vanilla environ, created a custom home side bar, and been testing the features. When I came to test it across different browsers, I found that while it worked in Chrome, enabling Learning Path actually made CRM unusable in either Edge or IE11.

In Task 3 I am prompted to :
Add a table extension to store the custom report data. Find the temporary cache for the TmpFMRentalsByCust data set that is populated by the RDP class, and create an extension in your model. Define the fields that will be used to store the data for the report server, and then click Save to save your changes. The following illustration shows the table extension that is required for this example.
How would I create a Extension of that table in my Project ? I clicked right on that Table and then got this...

I am having a very strange issue on SO invoicing.
On Invoicing(can perform Picking and Packing), system throws an error as
Failed to Create a session; Confirm that the user has the proper privileges to logon to Microsoft Dynamics.
This is regardless of any user login.
Will explain what we are actually trying to achieve here
Now, What have i done as a troubleshooting till now is
Thought this might be something with Usersession service, so Redeployed the service group again. then incremental CIL.
Still, No luck till now.
Seeking expert advise to overcome this issue.
