enable creation date on and created by for mainAccount table

Hi All,

We have a requirement to enable  creation date on and created by  for mainAccount table, as the documentation specifies and we can see by other posts here, we should extend the table MainAccount and modify these parameters, is this still the case? Are there any plans in future releases where we can do this CONFIGRATION through the interface NOT by Development?
