Recently we've created a simple task manager for one team. They can access through Outlook to Opportunities in CRM, create task with dialog box via button added from Ribbon Workbench. Then they should be able to access Task entity via Outlook and after finishing task add worktime with another button added with Ribbon Workbench. Nothing special, but it could be very handy for our employees.
There is a problem with... ribbon!
Have a look on my CRM sitemap in Outlook (every screenshot in Polish, sorry about that, I will translate it):
Selected entity is "Appointments". As you can see there are tabs for: File, Appointments (selected), View, Charts etc.
Well everything is fine with this entity.
Below are Tasks.
Have a look now:
There are tabs for File, "Main Page (?)", "Dev" etc.
There are buttons for "New activity", "New record" and "Uncommon" which opens Ribbon Workbench. Next is "Import" and "Advanced Lookup".
How on Earth is it possible? Is it by default? Look the view is also different, more CRMish ;)
I could live if that happen to any other entity, perhaps except Opportunities, Accounts and few other.
I will be very grateful for any explanation :)
